I have a question for students of the Bible. I have a conflict that is bothering me. Do you believe the Bible teaches that Jesus came back as a spirit? Suppose Jesus said He would be raised in a body? If the Bible said it would you believe it? I have found in John 2:19-21 Jesus said "destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up." the temple he spoke of was His body. The Greek is soma - BODY Some teachers say He was raised as an invisible spirit. No where in the Greek scriptures does resurrection mean the spirit. It always means physical raising.

yehweh

Some teachers say that He materialized in several bodies. But He said I will raise THIS body. Read on to John 2:22 When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered. . they believed the scriptures. Did He deceive His followers? God forbid! After His resurrection, Jesus stood in midst of them, they thought they had seen a spirit. 1900 years later many people are being taught this same false belief. "But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit" Luke 24:37 But Jesus corrected them!

What does the Bible say?
Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts? Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me and see; for a spirit hath not FLESH AND BONES, as ye see me have. Luke 24:38,39 Then He sat down and ate some fish and a honeycomb. Some spirit!
Did Jesus materialize this body to deceive His disciples? No Was Jesus a false prophet? No! Have you heard of doubting Thomas? He could not believe that Jesus was risen until he saw for himself. Jesus, standing in the midst of them, said,"Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. And Thomas said MY Lord and My God" John 20:27,28 see also v.29 ho kurios mou kai ho theos mou. (Greek) Jesus is Jehovah

If Jesus were the Archangel Michael He could not accept worship. John, speaking to an angel, "I fell at his feet to worship him. and he said unto me, see thou do it not: I am thy fellow servant, worship God. Rev 19:10 Did Jesus die on a cross or on a stake? Was not Thomas an eyewitness to the crucifixion? Would he have known how Jesus was killed? He said unless I see the print of the NAILS in His hands . . I will not believe John 20:25

Think about this. The old law says "the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering . . . place it on the FOUR corners of the altar. . Ezekiel 45:19 see Ex 24:6, Ex. 29:36 Did Jesus have an altar? Was He the (sacrificial) Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world? His sacrificial altar had to be purified by the priest before the sin offering could be offered.

How did he get blood on FOUR corners on a stake?
He didn't It was a Cross! The nails in His feet, nails in each hand and the crown of thorns! The law of Ezekiel was fulfilled. Jesus died on a cross for us. Have you been deceived on the Cross? Have you been deceived on the resurrection? Have you been deceived on the deity of Jesus Christ? Why not come to Him now. You can have a relationship with Jesus, not membership in an organization. see John 8:32,36 Behold I stand at the door and knock. If any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him. and will sup with him and he with me. Rev 3:20 Notice Ex. 12:7 strike it on the two side posts and the upper post (lintel). I think some blood got on the threshold too! thus making the cross there too.

MY PRAYER
Abba, Father, I call upon your wonderful name and ask that you allow your Holy Spirit to teach me, reprove me, let me know your will in my life. I know Lord Jesus that you emptied yourself of your Godly attributes and taking on the form of a man, suffered a horrible death upon a cross. It is not something I love but it is a symbol of your agony and sacrifice for the world. And in your resurrection you have victory over death and the grave. I believe you are my Saviour and my Redeemer. There is no other God but you. I believe the words you spoke in Matthew 28:19 to go and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit Even so come Lord Jesus, Amen.

There are deceivers in the world who come in sheeps clothing, teaching the false doctrines that were started in Alexandria, Egypt with Clement and Origen. They are called cults for a good reason. Do not be led astray by their teachings. Verify everything you are taught with Gods Word. These people go by the name of Jehovah's Witnesses, and they are certainly not that at all.
