He saith a third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was greived because he said unto him a third time,
Lovest thou me? and he said unto Him, Lord, Thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him,
Feed my sheep. . . and He saith unto him, Follow me.
John 21:17-19
1. The Bible is inspired by God and written by the true followers of God. (2Tim 3:10)
2. There is one God who is all-powerful, all knowing and a loving father to all. I believe that He has manifested Himself as three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. (1John 5:7)
3. God is the Creator of heaven and earth through His Son Jesus Christ. We are saved from sin and death by His grace (John 1:3)
4. Man is sinful by nature and therefore separated
from God. Salvation comes through none other
than Jesus Christ. Those who accept Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord shall
enjoy the kingdom
of God. (Rom 3:23)
5. Jesus Christ is Gods only begotten son, born of a virgin, sinless in His
life, and sacrificed for
the sins of the world. Jesus died, was resurrected, ascended into heaven
and sits at the right
hand of God. As High Priest, He intercedes for us. He will return to the
world at the end of the
Great Tribulation, according to His promise. (Matt 1:23)(Matt 28:6)(Matt
24:29-30)
6. The Holy Spirit came to convict the world of sin,
to draw a person to God and to comfort and
teach those who put their trust in Jesus Christ alone. (John 16:8)
