Remember those in prison as if you were their fellow prisoners. Hebrews
13:3
My prison ministry began when I saw the Musical/Story "The
Rock and The Rabbi". It was a crystal clear presentation of the
Gospel and I wished that somehow I could get it to my son, Scott, who
is now in a Florida prison. I obtained permission from the writers of
the play to copy the CD onto cassette tape. I was led by the Holy Spirit
to send it to all Florida Prisons. I then decided to make
Gospel Brochures which opened up a whole new part of my ministry for
the men and women I serve.
My mission is to find other narratives and story's that I can send to
the libraries. I wish to be a beacon of light and a ray of hope for people
in prison who otherwise may have no one they relate to. I write personal
letters to several inmates who have few if any visitors. I see no need
to soft pedal the Gospel to anyone. When I feel as though I have a person's
attention I will give them the Gospel direct, clear, and without compromise.
That's the way Jesus Christ told the world many years ago and I wouldn't
change a thing about His methods.
Praise God!
