You may search in vain in history to find someone similar to Jesus Christ or anything that can approach the Gospel. There is no one comes close to the equal of Jesus. When asked who he was he claimed to be the way, the truth, and the life. He claimed to be God, to the point of giving up his life rather than renounce that statement. Was he the Lord, was He a liar, or was He a Lunatic. There are no other options. You cannot idly toss out a decision. You cannot call him just a great moral teacher. You must make a choice.
"But these have been written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the son of God and that believing you may have life in his name." John 20:31.
How many people reject that decision due to the moral implications involved. Be morally honest and consider whether Jesus was a liar, a lunatic, or Lord and God.

Jesus did not:
Own a home, write a book, hold office, have a notorious family, go to college, travel more than 200 miles from where he was born, have great credentials, practice psychiatry, have a lot of wealth, Sin, hate, mince words, except mediocrity, get a fair trial, relent on the word of God, change his message, deny his God, need to repent, have His own grave, fail to have time for people, fail in His mission, disappoint His Father.
Jesus did:
Love us all, teach us all, pray for us, guide us, love our Father, lead us, give us peace, quench our thirst, conquer death, die for us.
Jesus is very unique!
Jesus was prophecied about in the Old Testament. During His life over 300 of those prophecies were fulfilled.
If He had filled just 8 it would be 100,000,000,000,000,000 to 1 odds.
He is the centerpiece of the human race. All the Armies, Parliaments and Kings combined, have not affected history as has that single life.
Surely I come quickly, Amen.. . . . . . Revelation 22:20
Does Jesus satisfy the spiritual hunger in mankind?
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied. . . Matthew 5:6
If a man is thirsty, let Him come to Me and drink. . .John 7:37
But whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst. . .John 4:14
Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you; not as the world gives, do I give to you, Let not your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful John 14:27
I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me shall not hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst. . . .John 6:35
Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28
I came that they might have life, and might have it abundantly . . . John 10:10
"Man has changed his world remarkably but has not been able to alter himself. Since this problem is basically spiritual, . .the sole way that man can be changed is by God." George Schweitzer
There are two alternatives to the truth. He knew he was lying. This would make him a hypocrite because He told others to be honest at all cost. Did He live a huge lie? Was He a demon because He told others to trust him for their eternal salvation? Was He a fool because he died for what he said?
When asked, "Are you the Christ, the son of the Living God?"
Jesus said, "I am and you shall see the son of man sitting at the right hand of power and coming with the clouds of heaven." Matthew 26:64
Jesus regarded Himself and His message as inseperable. He lived Truth! Someone who lived as Jesus lived, taught as Jesus taught, and died as Jesus died, could not have been a liar.
If he was not a liar could he have been a lunatic? Could someone teach with such depth and sanity and yet be a rampant megalomaniac in theological teachings that would rather be put to death than recant one word?
Napoleon said there is an infinite distance between Christianity and any other religion, There is not a hint of delusion in the entire history of the life of Christ.
A great historian once said "Is such an intellect so morally healthy liable to be a radical?"
For there are three that bear record in heaven, The Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost; and these three are one. . . . 1 John 5:7

Lord Jesus, I have accepted the challenge to make a choice as to whether you are Lord, liar, or lunatic. I know you are Lord and God and have given yourself for me. No man on earth can compare to you, to your love, to your compassion, or to your strength. I do not believe you were a liar or a lunatic. You are the Christ, the Son of the living God, in whom I trust with my life, my eternal life. You have taken my sins and given me peace in its place. Thank you Father for sending your son, for choosing me. Send me out into the world with the Holy Spirit. Preserve us until the end. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
